Do I get email on my own domain?

Yes. Mailboxes, aliases and forwarding on your own domain, with webmail and IMAP, POP3 and SMTP access from any client you already use.

Where is my mail stored?

On our European infrastructure, in Frankfurt and Amsterdam facilities. Nothing is replicated outside Europe, which is a much shorter conversation with a data protection officer.

Can I use Outlook, Apple Mail or my phone?

Any client that speaks IMAP, POP3 and SMTP works. Webmail is there for when you are on someone else's machine.

What about spam and viruses?

Filtering runs on the server before mail reaches your inbox, so it applies to every device you read mail on rather than only the one with the client-side rules.

Will my mail actually get delivered?

Deliverability depends on your domain being set up correctly, not only on the host. SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are configurable from the panel, and we will help you get them right — most delivery problems people bring us are a missing or wrong record.

Can you migrate my existing mailboxes?

Yes. Send us the current provider details and we will move the mailboxes with their contents and folder structure, then help you cut over so nothing arrives at the old server afterwards.

How much mailbox storage do I get?

Storage comes out of your hosting plan's disk allowance rather than being metered per mailbox, so you can allocate it where you actually need it.

Is mail included with web hosting, or is it separate?

It is included. Every web hosting plan carries mailboxes on your domain — you do not need a separate subscription to have addresses that match your website.

Are mailboxes backed up?

Yes, on the same daily off-site schedule as your files. A deleted folder is a restore request rather than a loss.

Can I have catch-all addresses and forwarding rules?

Yes. Aliases, forwarding, auto-responders and catch-all are all configurable per domain from the panel.
